The dining experience shines here, particularly with the Red Pepper Restaurant's fresh local seafood that truly elevates the stay. Breakfast is a highlight, featuring a traditional Scottish spread that’s worth waking up for.
Room size varies significantly. some feel like broom cupboards, lacking proper space and privacy, especially those overlooking fire escapes. The bathrooms need an update, with fans inadequate for humidity and some toilets sporting flimsy seats. Limited power outlets make it inconvenient to use appliances, and the noise from the street can be bothersome into the early morning hours.

The family room was super clean and really comfy. We felt right at home! The bed was great, and there was plenty of space for us. Just a perfect little spot to crash after the music festival. The decor was pretty basic but honestly, it didn’t bother us at all. It had everything we needed, and we had a wonderful stay! Nothing negative to mention, just a solid experience all around.

Lovely family spot
The place was really nice for our fam! The room was clean and comfy. We enjoyed dinner at the bar, it was a chill vibe. The only bummer was the limited parking. Oh, and the staff were super friendly! Would’ve liked an updated bathroom though. a great stay for one night with our little one.

I enjoyed the genuine warmth of the staff. They were friendly and made every effort to ensure my stay was comfortable. The room, although compact, was clean and tidy. I appreciated the good shower pressure. The restaurant impressed me with its locally sourced menu. The fresh fish dishes I tried were exceptional. The atmosphere felt cozy, great for a relaxing evening. Parking was limited and a bit tricky due to poorly parked cars. The early closing of the bar was , especially after a long day. Sound insulation between rooms could be much better. I could hear conversations from the next room. Still, the overall ambiance and location were excellent, making it easy to explore the town. I would consider coming back for the food and service.
